OSCEOLA MAGIC TEAM UP WITH LOCAL FOOD DRIVES TO HELP COMMUNITY CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY

By Osceola Magic Staff /November 28, 2025

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Nov. 26, 2025) – Over the past two weeks, the Osceola Magic have participated in multiple Osceola County food drives to help local families enjoy a meaningful holiday season.

On Wednesday, November 19, Magic staff volunteered alongside community members at Archie Gordon Memorial Park, during Osceola County Commissioner Viviana Janer’s Thanksgiving Meal Distribution. “We want to make sure every family in Osceola has a Thanksgiving meal on their table,” said Commissioner Janer. “We’re blessed to be able to do this...and thanks to the Osceola Magic for coming out and assisting.”

Mascot Swish was on-site, adding excitement to the day and helping load cars with items such as frozen turkeys, potatoes, rice, stuffing, and more. The event served over 450 individuals and families in need.

Just a few days later, on Friday, November 21, the Magic continued their community efforts by supporting the Church and Community Assistance Program at Osceola Heritage Park. More than 500 cars lined up around the facility as employees from both the Osceola Magic and Osceola Heritage Park worked together to provide holiday meals to local families.

The Osceola Magic is also looking ahead to the December holidays. In partnership with Baby DJ, the Magic has coordinated with Osceola Heritage Park to serve as a drop-off location for the charity’s annual holiday toy drive. The Magic return home to Osceola Heritage Park on Sunday, December 14 and Tuesday, December 16, hosting the Memphis Hustle. Sunday’s game will feature Swish’s Birthday, presented by City Kia of Greater Orlando, while Tuesday’s matchup will celebrate the team’s annual Holiday Party, presented by Florida Blue.
