What is the Osceola Magic Combine?

The Osceola Magic Combine is a performance-focused basketball evaluation and development experience for players looking to test themselves in a professional environment. Formerly known as Local Player Tryouts, the Combine gives athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills, compete, and participate in a structured on-court setting connected to the Osceola Magic basketball program.

Why register?

This is built for players who want more than an open gym. Participants will compete through a professional-style format designed around evaluation, skill work, and competitive play. Whether your goal is to earn a deeper look, sharpen your game, or measure yourself against serious players, the Combine is designed to help you show what you can do.

The 2026 Osceola Magic Combine is being held from 9 AM - 12 PM, on Saturday, September 5 at Osceola Heritage Park - Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, FL.

Is this still a tryout?

Yes. The Combine is the next evolution of Osceola Magic Local Player Tryouts, with added structure around development and performance evaluation.

Who can participate?

Any participants, age 18 or older (on the day of Combine), as long as either (i) you have graduated high school, or (ii) the class you would have graduated with has graduated.

Are there any costs?

Yes, $250 per person. You can pay by credit/debit card at the link below or cashier’s check and money order by emailing info@osceolamagic.com. All payments are NON- REFUNDABLE.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, you will need to complete all three registration forms in order to participate in the Combine. They are the Local Player Tryout Registration Form, Player Release Eligibility Form, and the Medical Consent and Authorization Form. The forms will be sent to you to complete via IronClad prior to the Combine.

Can I register on the day of the Combine?

No. Walk-ups are not accepted. All registration must be completed online while spots are still open.

Will there be scouts there?

Osceola and Orlando Magic will have scouts in attendance.

Do I need to stay all day?

Once you have completed your on-court commitment, you are free to leave.

What happens after the Combine? When will I find out if I have been invited to training camp?

The Osceola Magic staff will notify players who are invited for further evaluation.

Will food be provided?

No.

What can I bring into the facility? Do I need to bring my own towel, water, etc.?

Water will be provided. Please bring anything else you need (i.e. towels, ankle brace, extra socks, energy bars).

Can my family and friends come to watch the Combine?

The Combine will be closed and no guests may attend.

Will there be trainers or medical personnel on-site in case of injuries?

Yes, there will be an athletic trainer and medical services on-site but no ankle taping will be provided.

Do I need an agent to participate?

No, you do not.

What happens if I sign up and cannot attend? Will my money be refunded?

No, the registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Will I be reimbursed for any travel costs?

No, there will not be reimbursement for any travel costs.

What do I need to bring to check-in? Do I need to bring an ID?

Yes, you must have a valid photo ID to check-in.

Will there be any transportation to and from the event?

No, you must arrange your own transportation.

Will a hotel room be provided?

No, you must arrange your own lodging.
