OSCEOLA MAGIC START WINTER SHOWCASE WITH LOSS TO SOUTH BAY LAKERS

ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 21, 2024) – The Osceola Magic dropped its opening match of the 2024 G League Showcase 120-104 to the South Bay Lakers on Saturday afternoon. Robert Baker was the top-scorer for the Magic with 28 points on 13-of-25 shooting and seven rebounds. Javonte Smart tallied 20 points and six assists in his first start of the season.
Laker’s guard DaJuan Gordon recorded a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double on 11-of-17 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 from behind the arc. Devonte' Graham had 24 points of his own, shooting 56.3 from the field and 50 percent from three. Quincy Olivari added 18 points, four rebounds and six assists off the bench.
