  • The Osceola Magic ended January on a four-game winning streak and sit atop the Eastern Conference standings with a 12-3 record. In January, the Magic are the only team to be in the top five in offensive rating (117.3) and defensive rating (108.5). They also have the highest +/- in the G League at 9.1.
  • Osceola will welcome the South Bay Lakers for the first time in team history. The Magic and Lakers have met five times since 2017-2018 with the Magic hanging onto a small 3-2 advantage. However, the Lakers took down Osceola in the Winter Showcase in 2024 the last time they met.
  • The Noblesville Boom, formerly known as the Indiana Mad Ants, will face the Magic for the second and third time this season. The two squared off in the first game of the Winter Showcase with the Boom coming out victorious 112-99. Former Osceola standouts Jalen Slawson (17.3 ppg.) and Ethan Thompson (26.3 ppg.) return to Osceola Heritage Park for the first time since the 2024-25 season.
