- Jan 24: NBA G League.com
The Story:
- After being on the road since December 27, the end of the road trip is finally here. The Osceola Magic wrap their 10-game trip in White Plains, NY to take on the Westchester Knicks. The Magic are 7-3 on the road this season, with all seven wins taking place post-Winter Showcase. Westchester on the other hand has struggled in front of their fans, posting a 1-6 record at home.
- The Magic have been one of the best teams in the G League in utilizing their bench unit. Led by Phillip Wheeler (16.8 ppg.) and Javonte Smart (13.3 ppg.), Osceola's bench is averaging 42.0 points per game, fifth-best in the G League. The unit also averages the third-most steals with 4.7 per game.
- Alex Morales is already one of the most decorated players to don a Lakeland/Osceola Magic jersey. The fourth-year pro out of Wagner is tied for the most games played in Magic franchise history, with a chance to sit alone at the top with an appearance against the Knicks. Morales is also two points way from eclipsing the 1,000 career points mark, all with the Magic.
