The Story:

With the loss to the Memphis Hustle on Tuesday night, the Osceola Magic finished its Tip-Off Tournament run. The team will shift their focus to the 2025 Winter Showcase, which also kicks off regular season play. The Magic will look to continue their success after finishing with the best record in the Eastern Conference in the past two years.

In their first Winter Showcase matchup, the Magic will take on the Noblesville Boom, previously known as the Indiana Mad Ants. Former Osceola forward Jalen Slawson will face the Magic for the first time this season. The Furman product is averaging 21.1 ppg., 5.7 rpg., 5.5 apg., 2.9 blkpg. and 1.3 stlpg. for his new squad.

The Magic’s second showcase game pits them against the Mexico City Capitanes. The two teams met for Osceola’s School Days game on November 13 with the Magic coming out on top 117-111.
