Kissimmee, FL – The NBA G League released its 2023-24 schedule today and announced the Osceola Magic will open their inaugural season on Friday, November 10 in Mexico City against the Capitanes. The Magic will host their first home opener presented by AdventHealth at Osceola Heritage Park on Thursday, November 16 vs the Texas Legends, NBA G League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks. Game time is 7 p.m. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a replica jersey courtesy of AdventHealth.
For the third consecutive season, the schedule will be split into two parts – a 16-game Showcase Cup and a traditional 34-game regular season. Following the Showcase Cup, team records will reset in advance of the 34-game regular season. Each NBA G League team will play 50 games: 24 home, 24 away and two neutral site games at the annual Winter Showcase.
Osceola will play a total of nine home games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this season. The 2023-24 Magic schedule also features seven back-to-back contests (four home/home back-to-backs and three away/away back-to-backs). The Osceola Magic will play nine games in November (three home, six away), six games in December (four home, two away), 12 games in January (five home, seven away), seven games in February (two home, five away) and 14 games in March (ten home, four away).
The schedule features three four-game home stands. Osceola will face a season-long seven-game road trip from December 30 through January 15. Osceola's final game of the season will be on March 30 vs. the Indiana Mad Ants. The full 2023-24 schedule breakdown is included below.
