Magic Acquire Trevon Scott From Swarm

Kissimmee, Fla. – The Osceola Magic have acquired forward Trevon Scott and a first round pick (via Rip City Remix) from the Greensboro Swarm, General Manager Kevin Tiller announced today. Osceola will send its 2025 NBA G League first and second round draft picks to the Greensboro Swarm. In a separate transaction, Osceola has acquired a second round pick (via Stockton Kings) from the Cleveland Charge in exchange for guard Tray Maddox Jr.

Scott (6’8”, 225, 11/25/96) has played in 32 games (19 starts) this season with Greensboro, averaging 8.5 ppg., 5.7 rpg. and 1.2 apg. in 25.2 minpg.

Scott played in 135 career games (65 starts) during four seasons (2016-20) at the University of Cincinnati, averaging 6.6 ppg., 5.7 rpg. and 1.3 apg.  in 21.4 minpg. During the 2019-20 season, he was named to the First-team All-AAC, AAC Defensive Player of the Year and AAC Most Improved Player.

Scott will wear #2 with the Osceola Magic.

Maddox Jr. (6’6”, 200, 8/13/2000) has played in 24 games this season with Osceola, averaging 4.1 ppg., 1.0 rpg. and 0.8 apg. in 11.9 minpg.
