Earl Wilcox III

Earl Wilcox III serves as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Osceola Magic, where he is responsible for designing and implementing all strength and conditioning programs to ensure players are physically prepared for the G League season. He also oversees the team’s sport science initiatives, enhancing performance through advanced athletic support.

Wilcox began his journey with the organization during the 2018-2019 season, back when it was known as the Lakeland Magic. His diverse experience includes an internship with EXOS in 2014 and work as a mental coach at a golf academy, broadening his expertise in athletic conditioning and mental readiness. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Sports Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Central Florida. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Wilcox’s notable achievements include helping lead the Lakeland Magic to the 2021 G League Championship and graduating with Disciplinary Honors from UNCG.
